Terms of Service.
By registering for, attending, or otherwise interacting with Creative Streaks Masterclass ("the Programme"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Programme is operated by JOPStudios, a creative studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. If you don't agree, please don't register.
1. The Programme
The Programme consists of three workshop tracks: Photography Intensive (3 days, in-person, Toronto), Videography Intensive (3 days, in-person, Toronto), and AI Creation Day (1 day, online). Tracks may be purchased individually or bundled as the Complete Creator Pass. Specific dates are listed at registration.
2. Eligibility
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You're responsible for your own travel, accommodation, visas (if needed), and personal equipment unless explicitly listed as included.
3. Registration & payment
Registration is confirmed only after payment clears via Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and inclusive of any applicable Canadian sales tax (where required by law). Payment options at checkout include card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Link, Klarna, and Afterpay. Discount codes (e.g. EARLY10) are time-limited and applied at checkout.
4. Cancellations, transfers & refunds
Refunds and transfers are governed by the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Summary: full refund 30+ days before start, 50% 14–30 days before, transfer to next cohort 0–14 days before, no refund for missed days.
5. Cohort changes & cancellation by us
If we cancel or reschedule a cohort for any reason (illness, force majeure, insufficient enrolment), you'll receive: (a) a full refund, or (b) a credit toward the next available cohort, at your choice. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other indirect costs.
6. Your obligations during the Programme
• Attend all sessions on time. Lateness disrupts the cohort.
• Treat your fellow attendees, the model, and the venue with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or aggression of any kind are grounds for immediate removal without refund.
• Bring the gear listed in your confirmation email.
• Don't record sessions (audio or video) without our express written permission. Note-taking and personal photography of your own work are encouraged.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 Our content
All curriculum materials, slide decks, presets, LUTs, ComfyUI node trees, prompt templates, and recordings remain the intellectual property of JOPStudios. You receive a perpetual, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use them for your own client and personal work. You may not resell, redistribute, or rebrand them.
7.2 Your work
Anything you create during the Programme is yours. By attending Day 2's live shoot, however, you agree the model release covers educational and portfolio use only — commercial sale of those frames requires the model's separate written consent.
7.3 Use of your likeness
See Privacy Policy §11 (Workshop-Day Photo & Video Release). You may opt out before Day 1 starts.
8. Community guidelines
The post-workshop private community is part of your enrolment benefit. We reserve the right to remove members who violate community guidelines (which mirror these Terms). Removal does not entitle you to a refund.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JOPStudios' total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Programme shall not exceed the amount you paid for your registration. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost bookings, or lost income. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under Canadian law.
10. Disclaimer
The Programme is educational. We do not guarantee any specific outcome — bookings, income, follower count, or career advancement. Your results depend on your own effort, market, and circumstances. Photography and videography of weddings and clients carry inherent risks, including equipment failure and creative-judgement errors; you accept those risks as a working professional.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control — including pandemics, natural disasters, governmental orders, transportation disruptions, or essential-services failures. In such events we'll work in good faith to reschedule.
12. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved by good-faith mediation first; if mediation fails after 30 days, the courts located in Toronto, Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to registered users and posted here with a new effective date. Your continued participation after changes take effect = acceptance.
